Any suggestions on getting a job in the NYC area?
I have 18 years in IT with 7+ in Project Management (victim of Re-Orging)..........
It's a tough tough market out there and getting frustrating

Re: Getting a Job
Mon, January 19, 2004 - 7:07 PMWell, I feel your pain. I was also re-orged out of a PM position here in Wisconsin. I am now working but am grossly under-employed. Sorry, I can't assist with employment in the NYC area, but hopefully my emphathy can lighten the load.
BTW - I am new to Tribe.net and this is the first 'tribe' I've visited.

If you are interested in a position as Project Management, I'll keep my eyes open. -

Sun, September 5, 2004 - 8:26 AMEmpathy in Denver as well. I am a recent graduate w/ a BS of E-business degree and PM cert from Univ of Phoenix (not pmi cert). It has been difficult here as well. However, I did manage to find a project coordinator position through Adecco Technical, and I believe they have ofcs in NYC as well. You might contact them, as well as Ciber and Manpower Professional.
